TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have 14 (young) years of teaching experience in public education. Most of it is in under privileged districts and neighborhood. I am led to these places. Now I am teaching in a public school that serves three different Native American populations. My specialization is in Reading, Special Ed, and classroom management/discipline curriculum. I am currently in my 3rd year as an Assistant Administrator of an elementary school, focusing on teacher coaching and feedback.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My classroom is all about hands on and exploratory learning. Let's just say it stays pretty noisy and messy.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

There are a few but if you are interested, just ask. My awards are meant for personal motivation, not publicity.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I grew up hating school. Running track got me to college and kept me there. I learned to love education. By the middle of my college career, I took it seriously. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State in Texas and now want students to catch the love I have much earlier than junior year of college.
