I have been teaching for twelve years. I currently work for the New York City Public Schools and I have never been happier! During my twelve years of teaching I have been a grade level leader, a lead teacher, and have created workshops and professional developments for my colleagues. I also do action research for Columbia University, Teacher's College. I have taught in grades K - 6th. This year, I am teaching 1st grade inclusion as the special education teacher.
I truly believe that your classroom is your stage. You must show enthusiasm and love for what you are teaching. If you can do that, I believe that your students will be eager to learn what you are teaching them!
