I have been a Speech Language Pathologist for 18 years and have worked in a variety of settings with very diverse populations. I currently work with 6-8 graders in the public school setting and I love it! My background includes: expressive and receptive language skills, ranging from delayed development through loss of language due to a specified incident at any age; speech sound production including placement and motor speech disorders; fluency; voice; and feeding/swallowing difficulty for all ages.
I teach in small groups or 1:1, depending on the needs of the students I am serving. Either way, I believe in creating a dynamic culture in my classroom that is also safe for learners of all levels to feel successful.
I have been credited with program development accolades, using creative ways to motivate students with intensive models of language therapy.

I am a happily married wife of 22 years to my very best friend. I am also the mom to 6 kids and work a full-time job as a Speech Pathologist. Our family of 8 has quite a story of "love never fails" which can be read about in my first blog www.nowwesee.blogspot.com which takes you from the first time I traveled to Africa and met 3 beautiful children to the day they came home, 3 years ago. I am currently entering my next season of life, which I hope will include finding my new me! The stress of life can take a toll on a person and I am ready to step back and watch OR step up and take action, depending on what is called for at the time. Feel free to follow my progress at www.cloudchaser.me. I hope to be authentic and inspiring as I live life to the fullest.
