TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a special education teacher who has been teaching in a Long Island,NY public school since 2003. I love providing engaging learning opportunities to my students. Over the years I've had mixed-grades in one classroom giving me the opportunity to teach 1st through 5th. However, my core grades were 4th for 9 years, and I have spent over a decade teaching 1st and 2nd grade.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My classroom is a place where students should feel safe to learn and be themselves. I truly believe that children learn in a variety of ways and it is my goal to provide them with learning opportunities to help my students learn the best way they can.
