By Coffee Fueled Classroom I am a special education teacher who has been teaching in a Long Island,NY public school since 2003. I love providing engaging learning opportunities to my students. Over the years I've had mixed-grades in one classroom giving me the opportunity to teach 1st through 5th. However, my core grades were 4th for 9 years, and I have spent over a decade teaching 1st and 2nd grade.
My classroom is a place where students should feel safe to learn and be themselves. I truly believe that children learn in a variety of ways and it is my goal to provide them with learning opportunities to help my students learn the best way they can.

Bachelors in Child Study, Masters in Literacy. Certified in: Elementary Ed Pre-K-6, Special Ed Birth-21, and Literacy Birth-6th. Wilson Language certified and Ortan-Gillingham trained.
