I am currently in my 17th year of teaching. I have had an array of teaching experiences. I have a special education degree (K-12) with a specialization in Behavior Disorders, but I also have experience teaching students with learning disabilities as well as autism. I also have a masters in general education (1-8). I have taught 6th grade language arts and social studies as well as 5th grade math and social studies. I also have my administration license (K-12). I am currently an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme Coordinator. I am also an adjunct professor for Kent State University and currently teaching Early Childhood Education.
I believe in focusing on the whole child. I believe inquiry-based education is best practice. I also feel researched-based educational practices are important when focusing on teaching children.

I am a mom to 5 amazing kids, a wife, an educator, and much more. Like so many educators, I am constantly busy and multi-tasking. I am hoping that I can help make your jobs a little easier by providing great resources for your classrooms.
