TEACHING EXPERIENCE

22 years with the Washington Missouri School District. Currently a PhD candidate at the University of Kansas. Certified Orff-Schulwerk teacher and Level One movement and recorder teacher trainer. Flute, piano, and recorder player, and dabble in single reed instruments. Level One Kodaly.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Orff-Schulwerk elemental style, child-based. Love instruments, movement, allowing children to discover with guidance. I also utilize Whole Brain teaching in my classroom management.
