I have been teaching children and teenagers for over 20 years and have incorporated Common Core standards into my teaching and assessments.
I've been called the "Humble General" and take it as a compliment. I have high expectations, can encourage the most disillusioned, and provide a "safe" classroom where young people can take risks discussing, writing and sharing their opinions without fear of feeling inadequate. We seek truth and have a fun doing it.

I enjoy teaching children's church to 50 kids on a Sunday morning and also like to be outdoors and go for a good run, have good coffee with friends and family and sing in the shower (on occasion).
