TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught Middle School math for 7 years. I am well versed in Common Core standards. I have attended extensive professional development sessions and began creating a data base full of fun activities, tasks, worksheets, powerpoint & smart board lessons, and games for students to better understand and succeed with the common core standards.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Student centered learning. My lessons require a lot of questioning to students that is scaffolded to recall prior knowledge. Students build their own mathematical ideas which help them recall and better understand how math really works.
