TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Community Kids is a mentoring after-school and preschool daycare program reaching students in rural New England. The program helps develop students' academic, social, emotional and personal skills through one-on-one homework help and individualized tutoring, life skills and character education. Founded in 2006, Community Kids is celebrating its 11th school year making a measurable difference in the lives of the students it serves.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Every student is a unique individual, and Community Kids employs a wide variety of teaching styles to fit the need of each child. Lessons are often geared toward active learners or students who may not always connect with material in a traditional setting. Learning games and interactive activities are a mainstay of the Community Kids curriculum.
