TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Working at an IB elementary school this year has given me amazing enrichment abilities. For the lower level learners, I have several years of experience with inner city Tampa schools, and rural Central Florida students.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that learning should be hands on, student led, and project orientated.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Golden Heart award from USF Certificate of Appreciation from Stanton Wiersdale Elementary.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I studied civil engineering at USF, decided it wasn't hands on enough, and switched to elementary education. I received my BS in 2012, became a STEM lead in 2014 and I am now becoming an IB PYP educator.
