TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have a B.S. in Chemistry and worked in the chemical industry for approximately ten years - from analytical labs to research and development to corporate offices. I wanted more in my life, and decided to become a high school science teacher. I have been teaching high school chemistry for twelve years and I love my job! Throughout the years, I have taught Chemistry, Pre-AP Chemistry, AP Chemistry, Physics, Pre-AP Physics and AP Physics B, and Biology.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe FUN and creative activities along with relevant labs and creative flashcards help a student truly grasp the concepts of science.

I am a very creative person. I love the arts and the sciences combined. I truly believe the more creative we, as teachers, are in the classroom, the better students will love and retain what they are learning. A person typically remembers enjoyable experiences.
