TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a second year teacher in Southern California. In my first year of teaching, I taught 6th grade ELA in a TItle I school. This year, I am in a new district teaching 5th grade to a diverse student population.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in positivity, exploration, and collaboration. I focus on making content COME ALIVE for students who are below-grade level in core subjects. Students need to interact with the content and skills we are teaching, and I believe in creating resources, structures, activities, and a class that do just that- promote interaction and involvement.
