We've dabbled in a lot of different occupations before finally finding school counseling. We both feel as though this is exactly what we are meant to be doing. What a great feeling to love your calling!
Teaching style
We are both all about engaging our students and getting them involved in the lessons we do.
Kim LOVES dressing up to drive a point home with her students. On any given day, you may walk in and she will be dressed as a judge, a character from Candy Land, or most recently a cactus.
Laura loves using games, art projects, and technology to help seal those lessons in her students' minds. This year she will be transforming her classroom for each lesson to keep the students excited about coming to her class.
My own education history
Between us we have several degrees in everything ranging from Business Administration to Elementary Education to School Counseling.

Our names are Kim and Laura. We are just two school counselors in Alabama who love our job. We are energized when we collaborate with others and thrive on the creative process. Oh and we happen to have southern accents.
