TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Country Life Programs is the collaboration of two Literacy Specialists and a Speech and Language Pathologist. We enjoy developing differentiated instruction activities that empower teachers and their students to learn in exciting and interactive learning environment! Country Life Programs is a new and up-and-coming Literacy Center in the Southern part of Western New York. Please watch for our grand opening and come join us when we announce our professional development activities for teachers! Teaching Experience Lisa Miskell I am certified as an Elementary Education teacher and Literacy Specialist grades 1-12. Currently I am a Literacy Specialist for an Early Childhood Center in the heart of the City located in Western New York. Previously, I taught Reading and Writing to Refugee Students in an after school program for a few years. This my 3rd year teaching Reading and I love working with Elementary children! Teaching Experience Jeannine Klock I am certified as an Early Childhood, Elementary and Exceptional Education Teacher as well as a Literacy Specialist grades K-6. I have written and published a children’s book, The Day That Sami Moved In along with its accompanying DVD. As a Project Child Consultant Teacher I have mentored, encouraged and coached K-8 educators. Currently I am doing consulting work in several schools while working on opening a Literacy Center in the Southern part of Western New York. I am also patenting a learning tool for student use and enjoyment. This tool, Mirror Buddies, helps to strengthen both language and reading skills/strategies. Watch for more Mirror Buddies products soon!

MY TEACHING STYLE

We focus on providing hands on learning activities that can be utilized in cross curricular environments. Our commitment to specializing in the design of classroom environments plays an important role in our common core learning activity creations as well. Watch for our classroom theatres and puppet theatre products along with the Mirror Buddy stations and mat. We look forward to sharing our resources with all of you!
