I am a high school special education teacher in Los Angeles, California. I teach students with moderate to severe needs. I prepare my students for life after high school with real world experiences in and outside of the classroom. My classroom is focused on functional life skills.
I love my students. I am very passionate about seeing them progress and become independent functional members of society. I have a very positive and encouraging classroom.
I was named Teacher of the Year for the 2016-2017 school year.
I have a degree in Special Education from Baylor University. I have my credential in California in special education moderate/severe.
My husband and I are very passionate about adoption! We have one biological daughter and one foster daughter. We are currently in the foster to adopt program in Los Angeles County and are also in the process of adopting a little girl with Spina Bifida from Congo. International adoption from Congo costs around $37,000. All profits from this site go straight to our adoption fund. I cannot thank you enough for supporting us!
