TEACHING EXPERIENCE

10 years preschool experience. 8 years classroom experience in rural Missouri. 1 1/2 year classroom Experience urban charter school. 1 1/2 year Instructional Coach. 2 1/2 years Curriculum Director. Masters in Science with a Specialization in Curriculum and Instruction. All but Dissertation in Leadership in Educational Administration.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I taught using an integrative, project based approach. I use a lot of collaborative group activities that challenge students to work in teams. I have done lots of one-on-one conferences and checked in with students to check for understanding.

Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bachelor of Science Program President of student chapter of S-MSTA and ASCD. Presented at various conferences in Iowa, Louisiana, and Texas.
