With a decade spent in the classroom, I have seen it all! I've taught third, fourth and fifth grade students, with the bulk of my years spent in third grade. I have a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology and use the principles I've learned through the program to guide my product creation and classroom ideology. I create resources for ELA, Math and classroom management. Seasonal resources and activities that compliment any book are my favorites! I think being a teacher is the greatest job on the planet, and it is my goal to make your time in the classroom as enjoyable and *easy* as possible.
I believe in the power of community, and I strive to make it clear to students that everyone belongs. I also feel strongly about having a student-led behavior management system in place. Students take ownership of their choices and each day is a fresh start. Once the basics are in place, I consider myself the fun teacher! We love a good novel study, or a creative activity, or even an out of the box thinking task! I like to challenge my students, so they can grow in their own way.
