This is my 2nd years teaching. Last year (12-13) I taught 2nd grade and LOVED every minute of it. This year by surprise I am teaching Kindergarten. The kids are a little energetic for my liking but I love the content and watching them grow leaps and bounds.
I understand that this is a very important profession. I'm here to create young people who will one day grow up and be our future. Investing love, and patience in their lives is what will make them and ultimately me successful.

Starting my 10th grade year of high school (Melbourne High School) I participated in dual enrollment (free college : ) ). I attended both MHS and Brevard Community College (BCC) (now Eastern Florida State College, EFSC) until I graduate in 2009. In May 2010 I successfully acquired my AS Degree. In the Fall of that year I started attending University of Central Florida (UCF) at a Regional Campus in Palm Bay, Florida. I graduated from the Education Program in May 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Development and Education. Luckily with my program I am also ESOL certified and Reading Endorsed. My program was centered for children Pre-K - 3rd grade. However, I made a professional decision to take the K-6 test so that I could be more marketable during my job application process. I currently hold a K-6 state teaching certificate.
My husband and I have been married for 4 & 1/2 years. We don't have any children now but it will come soon enough.
