MY TEACHING STYLE

I think my style can best be described as determined and flexible. I know every student is capable of far more than they realize and that it is my job to tap their potential and prove to them they are capable of academic success. I develop talent, I do not simply identify talent. In my efforts to assist students in their success in high school and their development as self-actualized individuals implementing strategies that meet a variety of individual needs.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Recently I started working as a literacy coach increasing the volume of reading for every student (2700) at my high school. Every student has a book in their hand everyday and my student lead READS team works with each student to find "the" book that will set them on a path to becoming a lifelong reader! This is one of my most rewarding endeavors in my teaching career.
