I have been teaching for 12 years already! Where has the time gone? I began student teaching in a first grade classroom. Luckily, I was able to get my first hand at teaching on my own in a second grade classroom the following year and it was wonderful. After that I taught fourth grade for a year, until I finally settled into third grade for about 5 years. I truly enjoyed teaching third grade students! However, an opportunity arose and I moved on up to fifth grade with some trepidation. But, it turns out, fifth graders are just as delightful as my third graders were! I remained in fifth grade for four years until I had my son in 2016. When I returned, I made my way back to teaching third graders again!
