TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a classroom teacher for more than 10 years. Currently, I am a TOSA and am writing an integrated curriculum for our 4th graders. I was trained for 44 days in Rigorous Curriculum Design. In addition, I provide professional development for the teachers in our district. I have attended over 100 days of training in math, science, history-social science, reading, and writing during the last three years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in an integrated approach. Teaching reading and writing through the science and social studies standards allows teachers to go deeper and makes the learning more meaningful for students. Projects, technology, and collaboration are important classroom components.
