I have been fortunate to have been teaching for thirty years. Most of my experience is in primary with twenty years in kindergarten, my favorite. I work in the Capistrano Unified school district, in California.
Teaching through a hands on approach in kindergarten always works best. I like to engage all students with activities that challenge their thinking, involve their creativity and develop confidence in their achievements.
I was awarded teacher of the year at Ambuehl Elementary in the year 2013.
I attended San Diego State University, where I received my B.A. I earned my masters in curriculum and instruction at National University.
Teaching is a field that runs through generations in my family. My mother, husband, brothers, cousins and now my daughter have worked with our world's greatest recourse, children.
