TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am coming to the end of my 3rd year of teaching. I have spent three years teaching 6th grade ELA block. I student taught in 2nd grade, and I love the creativity that comes with teaching.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that children should be engaged in each lesson. There are so many fun and exciting ways to make sure this happens. From technology to colorful foldables, we can capture our students in a love of learning.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I started my college education at San Diego State University where I played on the volleyball team. I learned to balance school with a full time job of work outs, practices and traveling for games. I graduated from Texas State University- San Marcos where I full developed my love and understanding of the teaching profession.
