I spent 30 years as a speech/language therapist in public schools. I worked with pre-school, elementary, middle and high school students across all disabilities and severity levels.
I believe in multi-modal cueing and experientially based learning.

I was trained in Literacy (University of Colorado-Boulder) and spent my first 2 years as a Learning Disabilities teacher in an Elementary School. The rest of my career was as a speech/language therapist. From 2008 to 2010 I was in middle school classrooms (as a speech therapist) assisting with writing-grades 6, 7, 8. I wrote a graphic organizer book to aid middle school students with narrative structure.
