TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have experience as a general education teacher, special education teacher and counselor. I love ideas that are simple but effective. I am motivated by attention getters and lessons with lasting impacts. I like to leave my students with something to think about! I try to incorporate my humor, creativity and love for students into everything I do!

MY TEACHING STYLE

It is essential to me that my lessons leave a lasting impact. My goal is to promote a sense of wonder and natural curiosity about concepts. I feel that it is our duty to not only teach academics but to strengthen children's social and emotional skills as well. My lessons are fun, exciting, and creative!

I have attended several national PBIS conferences as well as Counseling conferences. I have led professional development seminars in areas of behavior, RtI, PBIS, disability awareness, data collection, etc. I have been a consultant on Check-in Check-out as well as a school facilitator.
