TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 23 years. Most of my teaching career, I had been a teacher of special needs children from grades 1st through 4th. I also had taught as an early childhood educator of children with special needs for ages 3 through 5 for several years as well. In the last 8 years, I have taught kindergarten and really love it!

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am a mother to an eight year old daughter who is my whole world! She lights up my life as a person as well as a teacher. I feel that we have instilled a great foundation for the love of learning in her as a family. Our daughter loves to read SO much that she has at least 50 books in bed surrounding her at night while she sleeps every night. She loves to read and write, and I feel as a parent and as a teacher, I am very proud to say that I hope I had a little bit of influence for that transformation. I do not work alone, my husband is an amazing father to our daughter, and he too have influenced her to becoming a good student!
