    Teaching music from birth to adult, in government and non-government schools (Primary and Secondary); teacher education; curriculum development; choral conducting; choral composition; and professional development for music educators.

  • My Teaching Style

    Music Education should be aural, sequential and developmental. That does put me into the Kodaly Camp, quite proudly so, however there are so many things to learn and use from all approaches to music education. And at this stage of my career, I think I would have to label my style, the 'Debbie O'Shea' style!

    Debbie's qualifications include a Masters of Music Studies, a Graduate Diploma of Music Education, a Bachelor of Education, an Australian Kodaly Certificate, and the Holy Names Kodaly Summer Certificate (California).
