I have been teaching high school Spanish for five years and am currently head of the Foreign Languages department in Lockhart (BBQ Capital of Texas!). I have been writing and developing course materials for years, and I occasionally share my ideas on comprehensible input strategies and technology on my website. I have attended a few conferences/workshops, including ACTFL 2014 in San Antonio, iFLT 2014 in Denver, Blaine Ray Workshop 2013 in Houston and NTPRS 2013 in Dallas.
My language classes are taught using comprehensible input methods, most notably TPRS, and I try to include as much novelty as I can using different strategies (such as novel and film studies, MovieTalk, etc). You can learn more about my teaching style here.
