I've been teaching alternative education for six years now. I am always on the look out for new and engaging curriculum.
Since I work with young adults, I like to promote student independence and accountability. I try to create lessons that allow for student choice and creativity.
I received the English Teacher of the year award in 2012 for my school district.
I earned my B.A. in Comparative World Literature, Single Subject Teaching Credential in English, and my Masters in Educational Administration at California State University, Long Beach
I love to travel! During the winter and summer breaks, I'm usually traveling and adding more stamps to my passport.
