After 16 years in ED/BD high school Algebra, I decided that my heart still belongs in the elementary setting. My leap of faith has landed me in an amazing position closer to home working with K-4 special education students! I'm seeing education in a brand new light! From juggling the roles of consultant teacher, co-teacher, 15:1 special class, and Resource Room...each carries a different significance for the special education students.
In my multiple roles, I have found that my style changes with each different teacher I work with. I can't wait to share my planning pages and ways I can be more effective in the classroom.
