TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught for several years in Title I Los Angeles public schools; both in the primary and upper elementary grades, which includes everything from literacy and math to physical education and visual arts.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that students are the drivers of their education, and therefore follow a teacher facilitated-student centered teaching approach. Students need to develop skills to understand and comprehend the wealth of knowledge around them. By giving them the opportunity to learn in an environment where they are critical thinkers and problem solvers allows for them to grow and develop those skills.
