I've taught in special education for five years in a highly diverse school district. My first two years focused primarily on working with students with Kindergarten and 1st grade students. Services focused on pull-out and co-teaching settings! My last three years have focused on working with students in Kindergarten-3rd grade with social, emotional, and behavioral disabilities. I am transitioning to a new school for the upcoming school year and I will be working with a variety of students with a variety of needs with an emphasis of co-teaching!
I enjoy teaching in small group settings for students who require additional accommodations and modifications. I am also in love with co-teaching! In either setting, I teach with a sense of urgency and support for the acquisition of the necessary skills to achieve the highest potential for each student!
