TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught for over 9 years. My subject areas are: World History, Government, and AP European History.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I strive to create enjoyable lessons that are student-focused, I want my students to be active and my lessons always have an eye towards having the students conduct a majority of their learning by actively doing some sort of creative task such as a debate, poster presentation, or a role-play simulation. The articles used in many of my lessons are short and to the point, focusing on the most significant ideas for a unit. Articles are usually between 2-3 pages long. Please check out my free lesson plan over "The Scientific Revolution" to get a good feel for the types of lessons that I create!
