TEACHING EXPERIENCE

My wife and I are both educators looking to assist other educators by creating effective lesson plans. It is our hope that with our experience, we can help provide you with a number of effective lessons that engage your students. We have a plethora of activities that we have already created, BUT we also are willing to customize/create lessons that will appeal to you and your teaching style. For example, if you have a specific unit you are teaching and you are struggling to create an activity. We would love to help create that activity for you. My wife has taught K-2 and I have taught 6-12 science. I am licensed in 6-12 earth science, life science and general science. I have taught high school earth science and currently teach middle school life science.

MY TEACHING STYLE

We consider ourselves collaborative facilitators. Kids learn best when they are up and moving around, communicating and problem solving with each other and are excited about the learning. HOWEVER, we also understand that this doesn't appeal to every learning type. So, we typically create activities in our units that differentiate and allow each student in the class to leave with something. We both have a strong belief that learning the content is good, but understanding the content is great!
