Danielle P. Browne is an author and international school teacher that works in a bilingual school in France. Growing up, she attended schools in North America, Asia and Europe but her favorite school memories come from the International School of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. It was there, as a young child, that her fascination with different cultures and languages began. As an adult she has taught primary and middle school students in the United States, Sweden, Norway and France. Through her experience in international school settings, as both a student and then a teacher, she has been able to continually develop a pedagogy that she feels is able to attend to the specific needs of young second language learners.
Through the years, Danielle's techniques have evolved to include not only music, dance and theatre, but also puppetry and mindfulness with a strong influence on cultural awareness and the importance of respecting all members of society.
