Started teaching in 2002 after working as a medical research associated (undergrad degree). Got started in the classroom because of the love of learning and desire to share great science. Now, I am a technology leader and innovator and want to share great ways to engage kids with science, technology, and engineering skills.
I am a STEM hands-on teacher who enjoys creating challenges for students to solve. I teach science, engineering, and computer science through problem and project-based learning. I also incorporate as much technology as possible including the SMARTBoard, Response clickers, 3D printer, green screening, robotics, and coding. Kids love to learn and the right challenge can get them engaged in a number of content areas,
