I teach gen ed. I like the kids and they in return show admiral respect. It's a simple concept. Show respect and get it in return. I do however make a point that I will not tolerate any tomfoolery from the young apprentices. I have had the time of my life teaching from the beginning and I still do.
I have a strict classroom, the kids love me and I present things to them in such a fashion that they like and can relate to.

Grew up in Connecticut. Was said to be smart by my piers and I wholeheartedly hold myself to a similar standard. If history is a teacher, then I know one thing, always show self respect and show admiration even to those who may not necessarily deserve it.
I am a History major and have a doctorate. I like kids and find it easy to relate to their naive and innocent ways. Many people have said I am good with kids, and I say " well, we can all be better at things, even when we are at the peak of importance."
