I have taught second, third, and fourth grades for over 10 years in a public school setting.
I believe all children want and need to be challenged, and I enjoy giving students opportunities to differentiate their own learning. Children are incredible and will most often surpass our expectations when given the opportunity!

I am a graduate of the University of Arizona, with a bachelor's degree in business administration - emphasis in marketing. After working at Walt Disney World for 5 years, I decided to follow my calling to become a teacher. I earned my post baccalaureate teaching credentials from Arizona State University, and soon after graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Master of Arts in Elementary Education. Over the years, I have enjoyed many continuing education courses, with an emphasis in cooperative learning and gifted education.
I enjoy traveling - especially to the beach and Disney parks, experimenting with new recipes, and creating teaching resources. I'm a voracious reader, and have recently rediscovered my love of novels written for middle grade students.
