I have experience working with students from kindergarten through 8th grade. During my first student teaching placement, I taught in a fourth grade classroom. When it came time to complete my second student teaching placement, I was assigned to work with an amazing itinerant teacher of the deaf, who introduced me to the world of being an itinerant teacher to students with hearing loss. This placement led me to becoming an itinerant teacher of the deaf with Summit Speech School.
I have always believed that learning should be two things- hands-on and FUN! When I work with students I plan activities that will engage them and allow them to take responsibility for their growth and learning. Specifically in the field of itinerant teaching, I work with students on a targeted IEP goal while incorporating games and other fun activities to spark creativity an motivate them to always do their best!

I graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science as a History major. I went on to complete my master's degree and graduated from The College of New Jersey again in 2018 with my Master of Arts in Teaching degree. I am currently certified to teaching K-6 elementary education and K-12 deaf education in auditory/oral environments.
I am a Disney lover, Starbucks drinker, family gal who has mastered the art of eating in the car thanks to the lifestyle of itinerant teaching! This September will be the official start of my first year of teaching and I am beyond excited! I am currently working to organize all of the materials I created during student teaching in order to add them to my store to share with you! I am looking forward to connecting with other TODs and members of the TpT community! :) Fonts: Teaches Third in Georgia: http://teachesthirdingeorgia.blogspot.com/
