TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Following two years teaching a mish-mash of subjects to Inuit students in the Quebec Arctic village of Kangiqsujuaq, I joined the Lester B. Pearson School Board in the suburbs of Montreal. Since 1998, I have taught every high school grade level (Grades 7-11 here in Quebec) in a variety of disciplines, but the one commonality has been my first love: Human Biology - focusing on the development of healthy habits in my students.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I try to blend traditional teaching methodology with the integration of technology and lots of hands-on experimental work while keeping the mood light and fun.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I guess "Self-Nominated Best Teacher in the Universe" doesn't count, right?

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Bachelor of Education (1996) - McGill University Master of Arts in Educational Leadership (2007) - McGill University
