TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hello fellow teachers! I am currently an 8th grade Math teacher in a middle school in central Illinois. I have always loved TPT and turned here when I was stuck. As I was working on some of my creative notes, a coworker mentioned to me that I should share these on TPT. That has brought me here! I have begun uploading some of my doodle notes that I use in my classroom as well as some of the interactive lessons and activities I use with my students. While all of these things are not perfect, I hope that I can share what I do and inspire others!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I have been teaching 8th grade in a middle school for a few years and I do my best to make math interesting and engaging for all students. I want students to feel successful and engaged every day they are with me.

Graduated from Illinois State University with Bachelor's in Middle Level Education with concentrations in Mathematics and Health Education. Graduated from Illinois State University with a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

In addition to teaching full time, I am heavily involved with my teachers union locally and statewide. I find union work beneficial not only for myself and coworkers, but for my students as well. I love having the opportunities to collaborate with people across the state and country!
