I love sparking my students’ interest in learning and engage them in my coursework by bringing out their imagination. Children learn through interaction and I strongly believe in teaching each lesson as a hands-on learning experience. The way I have conducted my courses was to have my students create art from observation and imagination as well as combining various multimedia techniques. I have created projects that involve all the senses for them to experience learning on a visionary, tactile and auditory level. My goals were to expand their skills in different mediums, develop their creative thinking process to form new ideas on what is art and how it can be created all while creating a fun and structured learning environment for my students. With a creative mind, their world will be colorful and exciting. My reward is to see my students grow and develop as eager learners. I look forward to teaching and inspiring my prospective students to explore the world with their creative eyes. I have experience instructing children from nursery through seventh grade, with the majority of my concentration residing within the nursery through 3rd grade age bracket. I am also currently running my own freelance mural business.
