I am a mother of 6 (5 girls, 1 boy) and grandmother of 5 (1 girl and 4 boys!). I love spending time with my family and my rescue dogs. With my children grown and on their own, I have developed a passion for creating and baking dog-gone good pet treats and meals (and plan on creating an on line store to market my products) I love teaching and enjoy watching my students grow and develop a true love of learning. I am blessed to have former students visit me regularly and tell me how they are doing. And what a joy it is to have students who have moved away to college find you and reach out to let you know of their successes. Every teachers dream is to impact their students’ lives but few get to hear from so many who are able to tell you how much you touched them and directed them to reach their dreams. Doctors, CSI agents, lawyers, teachers, police officers, paramedics, nurses, and business owners are a few of the students I have been blessed to see return for a hug and a thank you. My answer to them is always the same…. “I am blessed because you touched my life, not that I have touched yours!”
