TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching art for the past twelve years and founded the art Deep Space Sparkle in 2009 with the hopes of inspiring parents & teachers to create art with their kids. DSS is an extension of what I do in the art room: painting, drawing and sharing my love of art. Be sure to sign up for my newsletter which offers teaching tips, freebies and store updates. MY TEACHING STYLE

Children and art are a natural combination. I strive to balance direct line instruction, observation techniques and free expression to produce art lesson that every child can use to be successful. I use basic materials and teach techniques that are age appropriate and grade specific. I save my best lessons for my ebooks and provide detailed photo-tutorials taken in the classroom. Art teachers around the world have used my ebooks when developing their art curriculums.
