TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've taught 6th grade language arts for five years. Each year my students test scores have grown tremendously. I believe in pushing students to think critically and collaborating with one another.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a firm believer of students collaborating and teaching being hands on. In order for students to learn effectively, they need to interact with one another. Textbooks are not effective in my opinion. I love to find lessons students can connect with and think critically. My lessons are made from me using text from sources such as teen ink.
