TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I began as a Teach For America corps member and have continued my time in the classroom as a middle school social studies teacher. I have also created a middle school journalism class; we produce the school newspaper each term.

MY TEACHING STYLE

It's important to me to involve and engage all of my learners. If I am bored, they are bored. I have high expectations for their work and am more interested in the connections they will make among units and classes than I am in their daily grade.
