TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 17 years in Frisco and Plano, Texas. I am currently the "Math Lab" teacher who specializes in remediation with students with skill deficits and behavior issues. My materials are intended for the reluctant learner and many are open ended as my intention is to see the students process so that I may accurately facilitate their math education. On every one of my activities the students are given full credit (regardless of accuracy) given they pick a strategy and apply it. In addition, they must write a written account of their process in order to receive full credit.
