I absolutely love the upper elementary years! Previously I worked with 5th graders in Western NY to conduct a thesis descriptive analysis study on the effects of Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) and blogging on student reading comprehension and discourse strategies. My student teaching experience includes working with second graders in Western New York, and year six students abroad in Queensland, Australia for four months.
Hands-on, simulation based, and center-based learning are my priorities as an educator. I believe in structured student choice, and simulating the real world in as many ways as possible.

Check out my Facebook Store Page for frequent posts and updates about how to best use DeLallo Creations products: https://www.facebook.com/DeLalloCreations/ My dream has always been to create educational resources that support classroom learning standards in an out-of-the-box fun and engaging way. Students should love learning and be engaged, but at the same time they need to be heavily immersed in content with structure. Structure can involve lots of student choice and student driven project ideas. My goal is to support teachers by creating student-engaging resources that are content rich.
