Taught in special education classrooms in high school and junior high in both Southern California and Utah for a cumulative total of seven years. Engaged in full instruction of the special education, self-contained classrooms; Responsible for the writing of Individualized Education Plans including assessing students with norm and criterion referenced tests, IEP meetings, etc. Supervised and utilized the services of an instructional aide; Contributed to all aspects of the special education program including two years spent as an elementary special education aide and tutor. Additionally spent five years as a substitute teacher for all grades.
Love to teach a topic in all the different learning styles. Love projects and real life applications.

I have a B.A. Theatre Arts Brigham Young University, Provo,UT and graduated from CalPoly Pomona Special Education Credential Program. Currently hold a Special Education mild/moderate Teaching Credential UT Level 2
Theatre has always been a love of mine and for many years, I enjoyed performing. Have graced stages in New Jersey, Indiana,Utah,Washington, and Southern California. This acting experience has surely helped me in front of a classroom.
